About this fish
A trout brought over from North America, named for the pinkish rainbow band along its side. It loves cold water and is the star of Korea's winter trout festivals.
Catching one for real
Caught on small spoons and soft plastics at winter trout festivals and trout ponds. It's livelier in cold water.
