About this fish
Looks like the pale chub but has bigger eyes and a dark stripe along its side. It lives in shady, clear mountain streams and upper rivers.
Catching one for real
Fish shady spots in mountain streams with a tiny hook and maggots. It's shyer than the pale chub, so approach quietly.
